We are not open yet.
The site works. The catalog does not. Five thousand product pages, and we are checking every spec by hand, because the alternative is you buying a 48V inverter for a 24V battery bank and both of us having a bad month. The small specs are checked by small hands, as God intended.
02 · What we sell
We sell power systems, energy independence, and maybe even a touch of self-worth, for people who would rather be somewhere without a street address. Boats, rigs, cabins, shops, bunkers, whatever you have talked yourself into. Unlike your in-laws, we "mostly" do not judge your questionable lifestyle choices, but we have a great many opinions about your utility company. Somewhere in your utility's headquarters is a person whose only job is deciding how much more you pay next year. He is very good at it. He has never met you. Which means, technically, you paid for the trip he took to Cabo with his mistress. So now you are also a home wrecker.
03 · Freight
When we open, the freight number will be on the screen where you can see it. We have devised a double super secret method of being honest with our customers. The method is that we show you the number. It is harder than it sounds. Try explaining to a five-year-old where babies come from. Nobody ships a 200 lb battery for free, but we have ways of splitting the freight with you, or eating it entirely, and you will see which before you pay. Everyone else just buries it in the price and hopes you will not do the math. If you would rather be lied to, we will tell you that you look great in bowling shoes, but we cannot lie to you about money like the rest of the industry. Whatever floats your boat.

Take a founding number.
It is sequential, it is permanent once it is yours, and it is lower today than it will ever be again. Low numbers get first access to limited editions, events, and whatever else we decide to make. That is deliberately vague. We are not going to promise you a date we would then have to keep. The catch, printed in the same size as everything else: the number vests with your first order after we open. Any order. A twelve dollar fuse counts. Until then it is a reservation, and a reservation that never becomes a customer retires. We do not resell retired numbers (yet, or unless somebody with more money than sense makes us an offer we cannot refuse). The gap stays in the sequence, so everyone can see where somebody almost did not let their family down. Founding number 0001 is reserved for Tom from Myspace. We do not know him. We do not even know if he is real. But if Tom is out there, he is exactly the kind of go-getter we want as our first founding customer. He is exempt from the purchase requirement. He has done enough. (We have something special for anyone who can actually get the real Tom from Myspace to accept our offer for a fresh start.)
It is also lower today than it is on Thursday, when you have finished thinking about it.
In the unlikely event we were to sell a retired number - we are talking to you, #23 - we will announce it on our timeline along with what buying moral flexibility costs.
You also get the field manual when it is done: load lists, battery sizing, voltage drop by run length, lithium state of charge, and what freight actually costs. It is the document we keep writing out by hand for people, so we are writing it once.
Founding customer
#0000
That number is yours and it does not move. Your first order, once we open, makes it permanent. Nothing else happens now. Close the tab, go outside, we will write when there is something to read.

We are arranging billions of ones and zeros so you will have somewhere to spend your paycheck and so I can finally pay off my wife's plastic surgeon. In hindsight, "The Outfit" was a strange name for a surgery center, and the cash-only policy should have been a bigger clue, but Mikey "Two Thumbs" is a great surgeon. The man is an artist with a knife. Anyway. They let me out of the trunk, the leg is healing, and the site is back on schedule.
